Hartford has gone a perfect 5-0 against Colchester recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hurricanes will be playing at home against the Lakers at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hartford comes in on seven and Colchester on four.

Hartford is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Rutland, who was ranked fourth at the time (Hartford was ranked first). The Hurricanes walked away with a 26-14 win over the Raiders on Friday. Those 26 points were actually the fewest the Hurricanes have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, Colchester won against Champlain Valley Union last Saturday with 20 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Lakers strolled past Burlington/South Burlington with points to spare, taking the game 20-6.

Colchester's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Hartford, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Everything came up roses for Hartford against Colchester when the teams last played back in October of 2017, as the team secured a 53-13 victory. Will the Hurricanes repeat their success, or do the Lakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
