Soccer Recap: Ballantyne Ridge Takes a Loss

After flying high against Palisades last Thursday, Ballantyne Ridge came back down to earth. Wolves came up short against the South Mecklenburg Sabres on Tuesday, falling 4-1.

Ballantyne Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for South Mecklenburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ballantyne Ridge will face off against Providence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Mecklenburg, they will challenge Myers Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Mecklenburg's defense better be ready for this one: Myers Park have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season.
