Volleyball Game Preview: Northview Knights vs. Tri-West Hendricks Bruins

After both having extra time off, the Northview Knights and the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northview is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 21 games.

Northview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Edgewood by a score of 3-1.

Northview had a senior duo take command as Brinley Deakins had 19 digs and two aces and Carmen Briscoe had six digs and two aces. Deakins is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Addi Dehart, who had 13 assists.

Meanwhile, Tri-West Hendricks beat Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory 3-1 on Saturday. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Northview better focus on containing Finley Dakin and Anna Thompson as the pair were huge in Tri-West Hendricks' win. Dakin had 16 digs and two aces, while Thompson had seven digs. What's more, Dakin posted five assists, the most she's had since back in September.

Tri-West Hendricks' win bumped their record up to 22-12. As for Northview, their victory bumped their record up to 28-5.
