Volleyball Game Preview: Northern York Polar Bears vs. Lower Dauphin Falcons

Northern York is 2-7 against Lower Dauphin since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Polar Bears will host the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Lower Dauphin took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Northern York, who comes in off a win.

Northern York had won two straight home games and Tyler Allen did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Polar Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Cedar Cliff thanks in part to Allen, who had 34 assists and four digs. Allen is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 20 every time he's taken the court this season.

Northern York never let Cedar Cliff on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 29-27.

Meanwhile, Lower Dauphin came up short against Red Land on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Lower Dauphin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Northern York, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Northern York came out on top in a nail-biter against Lower Dauphin in their previous meeting on April 1st, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Polar Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
