There's no place like home for Charles J. Colgan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They really took it to the Hylton Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-24 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-33 back in January.

Charles J. Colgan's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mariah Barksdale, who went 8 for 17 on her way to 19 points. Audrey Williams was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

Charles J. Colgan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive contests.

Hylton's loss came despite strong showings from Aysia Gholston and Diamond Johnson. Gholston posted 14 points, while Johnson scored five points and eight rebounds. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played.

The win got Charles J. Colgan back to even at 9-9. As for Hylton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Charles J. Colgan will have a chance to go back-to-back against Hylton: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
