Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greater Vision Academy). They came out on top against the Carter G. Woodson Eagle by a score of 80-69 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-45 back in December of 2024.

Greater Vision Academy had a senior duo take command as Josiah Love went 13 for 20 on his way to 36 points and Ramael Warren dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Love has scored at least a third of Greater Vision Academy's points. Amari King was another key player, putting up nine points and seven boards.

Greater Vision Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Carter G. Woodson, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
