Preview: Jefferson City vs. Rock Bridge
After two games on the road, the Jefferson City Jays are heading back home. They will take on the Rock Bridge Bruins on Thursday. The Jays will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Rock Bridge will be their toughest opponent yet.
It was close but no cigar for Jefferson City as they fell 60-57 to Republic this past Saturday. Given their respective MaxPreps rankings, Jefferson City's loss came as a bit of a surprise.
Speaking of close games: Rock Bridge faced Incarnate Word Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Rock Bridge escaped with a win against Incarnate Word Academy by the margin of a single basket, 46-44.
The Jays are now 17-2 while Rock Bridge sits at 15-3. The Bruins are 11-3 after wins this year, and Jefferson City is 1-0 after losses.
