Football Recap: Hays Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hays extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 4-5. They were beaten by the A&M Consolidated Tigers 45-13. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 49-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Although Hays took the loss, they still got scores from Jayden Gingrow and Eyan Stigall.

As for A&M Consolidated, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points over those games.

A&M Consolidated was led to victory by Amarian Moore and Camron Roston. Moore threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns, while Roston rushed for 89 yards and a pair of scores. Those three passing touchdowns gave Moore a new career-high.
