Football Recap: Interlake Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Interlake dropped to 7-2 on Thursday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They took a blow against the Bellevue Wolverines, falling 49-6. The Saints were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the six contests prior), but the Wolverines' defense proved too tough.

Julian Hayes threw for 221 yards and one TD. Chase Campbell was his top target, picking up 98 receiving yards. On the ground, Kyzaiah Wood rushed for 40 yards.

As for Bellevue, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won five matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Sawyer Young was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 31 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Interlake wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 41-27 loss against Juanita on the 6th. As for Bellevue, they will square off against Inglemoor at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Max Jones and Peyton Mrsny.
