Basketball Recap: Center Point Comes Up Short

Center Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Menard Yellowjackets, falling 58-21.

Center Point's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Menard, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Center Point will take on Johnson City in a holiday battle at at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson City's defense has only allowed 28.7 points per game this season, so Center Point's offense will have their work cut out for them. Menard and Panther Creek will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
