Softball Recap: Luray Comes Up Short

Luray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Central Woodstock Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

Emilee Hassett made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run.

Luray's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Central Woodstock, their win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1.

Luray does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Woodstock, they will square off against Clarke County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
