Volleyball Recap: Walker Takes a Loss

Walker lost against Dutchtown back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Griffins, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17, 25-13.

When it comes to explaining why Walker lost, don't look at Lily Vetter. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs and one assist. Vetter is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Walker's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Dutchtown, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-8.

Coming up, Walker will face off against Springfield at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dutchtown, they will take on Archbishop Hannan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
