MaxPreps Top 25 Regional High School Football Computer Rankings: South Region

Nine new teams enter South regional rankings.



Nine new teams entered the MaxPreps South Regional Football Computer Rankings this week, headed by No. 8 Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, Miss.).

Griffin (Ga.) also entered the top 10 at No. 10 while Colquitt County entered the rankings at No. 11 after its 35-14 win over Hoover (Ala.). Hoover dropped from No. 4 to No. 22.

The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings. The South region includes teams from Florida, Tennessee, Maryland, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Washington D.C., Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
