Basketball Recap: Catholic Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brooke last Monday, Catholic Central came back down to earth. The Catholic Central Crusaders came up short against the Malvern Hornets on Wednesday, falling 55-30. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Crusaders have suffered since February 24, 2024.

Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Malvern, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Catholic Central will welcome East Palestine at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Malvern has already played their next game (against Buckeye Trail), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
