Volleyball Recap: Otto-Eldred Takes a Loss

Otto-Eldred lost against West Branch on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Terrors fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. The Terrors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Rayel Hakes paced Otto-Eldred's offense, picking up two kills. Hakes got some help from Emma Button and her three assists. Finally, Hakes was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Otto-Eldred's loss dropped their record down to 21-6-1. As for West Branch, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 34-2-3.

Otto-Eldred wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Johnsonburg on the 21st. As for West Branch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Elk County Catholic on the 18th.
