Danvers has gone 9-1 against Swampscott recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Falcons will challenge the Big Blue at 4:30 p.m. Danvers is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

Danvers will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Peabody Veterans Memorial, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tanners on Friday, sneaking past 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since April 2nd.

Skylar Coakley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits.

On the hitting side, Addi McCarty was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kyla Moroney, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Danvers lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Swampscott made easy work of Salem on Monday and carried off an 11-4 victory. The win continues a trend for the Big Blue in their matchups with the Witches: they've now won three in a row.

Swampscott now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Danvers, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-4.

Danvers took their win against Swampscott in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 16-8 score. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Big Blue turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
