Chatham Charter got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Meah Brooks out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. Brooks is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 18 or more in the last seven games she's played. Delana Loflin was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven assists and five steals.
Southern Wake Academy's defeat was their tenth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Chatham Charter, their win bumped their record up to 19-1.
Southern Wake Academy was taken down by Chatham Charter 64-13 when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Brooks, who scored 28 points.
