Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rayne, Notre Dame was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Tigers get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Pioneers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Notre Dame will face off against Welsh at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Greyhounds will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Pioneers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy, they will take on Lafayette Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
