Football Recap: Trinity Episcopal Wins High-Profile Contest Against Benedictine

Trinity Episcopal's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Davion Brown, who picked up 170 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Those 170 receiving yards gave Brown a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Deacon Skogen, who threw for 197 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes.

Trinity Episcopal was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 209 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 172 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

Trinity Episcopal pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.7 points over those games. As for Benedictine, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.
