Soccer Recap: Mineola Takes a Loss

Mineola's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lindale Eagles. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, the Yellowjackets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mineola's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Lindale, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Coincidentally, Mineola and Lindale will both be playing Chapel Hill the next time they take the pitch. Mineola will host Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lindale will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on March 11th.
