Softball Game Preview: Florala Wildcats vs. Greenville Tigers

The Florala Wildcats will square off against the Greenville Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Florala is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

Monday just wasn't the day for Florala's offense. They came up short against Kinston on Monday, falling 16-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Florala saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kiley Caine, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Thursday. Greenville walked away with a 7-3 win over McKenzie. The victory continues a trend for Greenville in their matchups with McKenzie: they've now won eight in a row.

Greenville's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Florala, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.

Florala came out on top in a nail-biter against Greenville in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 17-15. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
