Meanwhile, Riverside Academy can bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They skirted past Crescent City Christian 2-0. The two-point effort marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Riverside Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Covenant Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

Everything came up roses for Covenant Christian Academy against Riverside Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 42-6 win.
