Basketball Recap: Davenport Takes a Loss

Davenport was the 61-53 winner over Auburndale when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Davenport Broncos fell 67-55 to the Auburndale Bloodhounds on Tuesday. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Davenport now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Auburndale, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davenport will face off against Sebring at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sebring is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.5 points per game this season. As for Auburndale, they will take on Ridge Community at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridge Community has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three matches.
