The Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 74-73 photo finish over Friends Select. The victory was just what Abraham Lincoln needed coming off of a 79-43 defeat in their prior matchup.
Abraham Lincoln's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aldonis Martin, who scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Samair Peterson, who scored 18 points.
Abraham Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Friends Select, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abraham Lincoln will be home for the holidays to greet Math Civics & Sciences at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
