Soccer Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the New Hope Indians, falling 8-1. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for New Hope, they now have a winning record of 1-0.

Lee wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Arab on the 17th. As for New Hope, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-3 victory against Etowah on the 17th.
