Basketball Recap: Cam Hurt Key Part of Team Effort in Pioneers Win

Pinnacle had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 72-53 win over the Cibola Raiders on Friday.

Pinnacle's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cam Hurt, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 17 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ryan Nelson, who went 5-for-9 en route to 16 points and five assists.

Pinnacle's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Cibola, they moved to 13-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Pinnacle has already played their next match, a 74-62 win against Higley on the 26th. Cibola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
