Kase Lindly leads a balanced attack to beat Cossatot River

The Wright City Lumberjax entered their tilt with the Cossatot River Eagles with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Wright City enjoyed a cozy 71-57 win over Cossatot River on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wright City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kase Lindly, who scored 26 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lindly has scored at least 25% of Wright City's points. Kayden Cummings was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight steals and six rebounds.
Wright City's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Cossatot River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.
Wright City will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Smithville at 8:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Cossatot River is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Paris at 4:00 p.m. on December 12th. Paris is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.
