Basketball Game Preview: WACO Warriors vs. Notre Dame Nikes

The WACO Warriors will head out to take on the Notre Dame Nikes on Saturday. WACO will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, WACO beat Winfield-Mt. Union 45-40.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame came up short against Regina on Tuesday and fell 61-53.

WACO's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Notre Dame, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-4.

WACO lost to Notre Dame on the road by a decisive 54-40 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can WACO avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
