Softball Recap: South Columbus Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Stanly, South Columbus was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-13 win over the South Point Red Raiders.

South Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for South Point, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

South Columbus has already played their next contest (against Whiteville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for South Point, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-4 win against Cherryville on the 23rd.
