Volleyball Recap: Baylor Gregg and Hailey Mcmanus Secure Win for South Florence

South Florence posted their closest win since August 27th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Darlington Falcons 3-2. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

South Florence got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 31-29, 24-26, 21-25, 15-12.

South Florence was led to victory by Hailey McManus and Baylor Gregg. McManus had 55 assists, while Gregg had 12 digs and four aces. What's more, McManus posted three kills, the most she's had over her last five contests.

South Florence's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Darlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. South Florence will take on rival Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Darlington is set to challenge their familiar foe Hartsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
