Baseball Recap: Rincon/University Rangers vs. Sunnyside Blue Devils
Rincon/University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They fell victim to a tough 20-2 defeat at the hands of the Sunnyside Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Rincon/University of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Rincon/University saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jarod Villareal, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Anthony Alas was another key contributor, going 2-for-2 with an RBI.
