Football Recap: Northmor Takes a Loss

Northmor had taken Centerburg down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The game between the Golden Knights and the Trojans didn't end well, with the Golden Knights falling 44-27. While the Golden Knights had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Trojans 6-0.

Tanner Miley threw for 159 yards and a pair of TDs. Conner Stockdale was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards and one touchdown.

This is the second loss in a row for Northmor and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Centerburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northmor is set to square off against their familiar foe Danville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Centerburg will take on rival Loudonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
