Basketball Game Preview: Bunker Hill Bears vs. Newton-Conover Red Devils

Bunker Hill is 2-8 against Newton-Conover since November of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bunker Hill Bears will host the Newton-Conover Red Devils at 7:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bunker Hill is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 87-44 loss at the hands of Maiden. Newton-Conover's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Bunker Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-20.

Bunker Hill took a serious blow against Newton-Conover in their previous matchup back in January, falling 68-38. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Newton-Conover's Braxton Eckard, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.
