Garden Spot extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Gabe Martin. The Spartans enjoyed a cozy 34-20 victory over the Bristol Warriors on Friday thanks in part to Martin, who rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 134 yards and one TD. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made seven total tackles.

Another player making a difference was Brock Swavely, who picked up 65 receiving yards and one score. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 59 yards.

The win got Garden Spot back to even at 4-4. As for Bristol, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2.

Garden Spot wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 31-14 victory against Manheim Central on the 17th. As for Bristol, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-27 win against Lower Moreland on the 18th.
