Volleyball Recap: Hayward Gets the Win

Hayward lost to Phillips back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Hurricanes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Loggers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hurricanes.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Hayward who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 22-25, 15-10.

Hayward now has a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Hayward will head out to square off against New Richmond at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Phillips, they will take on Three Lakes on Saturday.
