Volleyball Recap: Moore Lions vs. Norman Tigers
On Thursday, Moore faced Norman in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Everything went the Moore Lions' way against the Norman Tigers as the Moore Lions made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on six straight.
Moore was generally in control, but really had to dig deep in the third set to get the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-10, 25-23.
Moore pushed their record up to 16-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Norman, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.
Moore will square off against Edmond Santa Fe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norman, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Yukon at 6:00 p.m. on October 1st.
