Basketball Recap: Tenafly Takes a Loss

Tenafly was the 54-43 winner over Rutherford when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Tenafly Tigers fell just short of the Rutherford Bulldogs by a score of 39-37 on Monday. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Tenafly's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Rutherford, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tenafly will welcome NV - Old Tappan at 4:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Rutherford, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Harrison at 5:30 p.m. Rutherford's defense has only allowed 24 points per game this season, so Harrison's offense will have their work cut out for them.
