Football Recap: South Side Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Side can now relate to. They fell 26-21 to the Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers on Friday. It was the first time this season that the Rams let down their fans at home.

When it comes to explaining why South Side lost, don't look at Andrew Corfield. Despite the final result, he rushed for 120 yards and one score, and also caught one touchdown. Corfield's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.

Aaron Walsh was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 119 yards and one TD, and also threw for 56 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September.

South Side's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Chartiers-Houston, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

As of now, neither South Side nor the Buccaneers have any future games scheduled.
