Baseball Game Preview: Warren Dragons vs. Meadville Bulldogs

The Warren Dragons are taking a road trip to take on the Meadville Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Warren came up short against Harbor Creek on Wednesday, falling 12-2.

Warren saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tage Wyman, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Brady Shene also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Meadville came into Wednesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Fort LeBoeuf by a score of 7-2 on Wednesday.

Meadville got a big performance out of Bradyn Miller, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles Miller has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jacoby Thompson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meadville's record is now 5-6. As for Warren, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Warren couldn't quite get it done against Meadville in their previous meeting on April 4th as they fell 7-2. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
