KIPP San Jose Collegiate easily dispatched Cindy Avitia last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack fell just short of the North Valley Baptist Bulldogs by a score of 38-36 on Monday. The Wolfpack's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

North Valley Baptist had a senior duo take command as Dom Lara posted six points and 16 boards and Josh Medikondu went 5 for 11 en route to 10 points. Lara is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Andre Lopez, who scored six points and seven boards.
