Basketball Recap: Long Creek Find Success

The third road contest was the charm for Long Creek, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 38-25 victory over the Blanco Panthers on Thursday.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ashton Uballe, who posted eight points and nine rebounds. Uballe has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kinley Boyd, who had eight points and six rebounds.

Long Creek's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Blanco, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Long Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 39-32 victory against Nixon-Smiley on the 6th. As for Blanco, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 51-31 win against Marion on the 6th.
