Xenia is 1-7 against Troy since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Xenia Buccaneers are on the road again to play the Troy Trojans at 7:15 p.m. Xenia will be strutting in after a victory while Troy will be coming in after a defeat.
Xenia is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Wayne with a sharp 9-2 win on Monday. Considering the Buccaneers have won three matches by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Troy was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 7-0 to Waynesville. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 258th, while the Spartans are ranked 63rd).
Xenia now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Troy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
