Basketball Recap: Valley Falls Short of Whitehorse in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Valley can now relate to. They fell 39-29 to the Whitehorse Raiders on Saturday. If the Buffalos were looking for revenge after losing 51-44 to the Raiders when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Whitehorse got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Heidi Clark out in front who posted 11 points along with six boards and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Clark a new career-high in assists (three). Another player making a difference was Hannah Clark, who earned seven points and four steals.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Whitehorse, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Valley nor Whitehorse have any future games scheduled.
