Softball Preview: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves vs. Palos Verdes Sea Kings
The Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves are on the road again on Tuesday to play the Palos Verdes Sea Kings at 3:15 p.m. The last three games Wiseburn- Da Vinci has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought game, but Wiseburn- Da Vinci had to settle for a 10-9 defeat against Lennox Academy.
Audrey Cruz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with four RBI, a triple, and a run. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Veal, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, Palos Verdes has not done well against Mira Costa recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Wednesday. Palos Verdes came out on top against Mira Costa by a score of 5-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for Palos Verdes.
