Basketball Game Preview: Washington County Commanders vs. Caverna Colonels

The Washington County Commanders will face off against the Caverna Colonels at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Washington County came up short against Thomas Nelson and fell 52-42.

Meanwhile, Caverna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Somerset Christian.

Caverna's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Washington County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Everything came up roses for Washington County against Caverna in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 74-29 win. Does Washington County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Caverna turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
