Volleyball Recap: Splendora Comes Up Short

Splendora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Kingwood Park Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Splendora's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Kingwood Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Splendora will host Port Neches-Groves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kingwood Park, they will take on Hudson in a tournament on Friday.
