Softball Recap: Conneaut Area Comes Up Short

Conneaut Area lost to Corry back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles lost 17-7 to the Beavers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riley Miller was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Josie Mihoci was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI.

Conneaut Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Corry, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Conneaut Area didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-4 victory against Fairview on the 18th. As for Corry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-4 loss against Fort LeBoeuf on the 18th.
