Hollidaysburg had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.9 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 51-45 W against the Central Dragons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-41 back in December of 2025.

Hollidaysburg's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hollidaysburg and Central will both be playing Bishop Guilfoyle the next time they take the court. The Dragons will host the Marauders at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Golden Tigers will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
