Basketball Recap: Berwick Academy Piles Up the Points Against Hebron Academy

Berwick Academy won the last time they faced Hebron Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Berwick Academy Bulldogs claimed a resounding 82-30 victory over the Hebron Academy Lumberjacks. The match marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season.

Leading Berwick Academy to victory were Noah Daniel and Brandon Ventura. Daniel dropped a triple-double with 24 points, ten boards, and 15 assists, while Ventura dropped a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Daniel's afternoon made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least 22 points. Tucker Demers was another key player, going 5-for-8 on his way to 11 points and seven rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Berwick Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 31 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Berwick Academy's record now sits at 7-12. As for Hebron Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berwick Academy and Kents Hill School will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
