Ridgefield has gone a perfect 10-0 against R.A. Long recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Spudders will venture away from home to square off against the Lumberjacks at 4:00 p.m. Ridgefield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season.
Ridgefield's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Hudson's Bay. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spudders.
Gracie Olmos made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs.
In other batting news, Ridgefield got a massive performance out of Abbey Hite, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Charlie Harris, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for R.A. Long's offense. They came up short against Mark Morris on Friday, falling 15-0. The Lumberjacks have struggled against the Monarchs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Ridgefield's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for R.A. Long, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1.
Everything went Ridgefield's way against R.A. Long in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Ridgefield made off with a 20-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spudders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
